MirokuMai is coming from an “Akitakomachi” type of seed, a Japonica short grain rice. It is one of the best Japanese rice variety.
Once freshly cooked it becomes sticky and chewy in texture with a wonderful aroma. When cold, it retains its shape and moisture.
